For the un-initiated, Joomla! is a world class content management system (CMS) that is also Open Source.
Scotland's first and only Joomla! user group draws a strong and diverse community of Joomla! fans together. Although based in Aberdeen in the north east of Scotland, our members come from all over the region. We're a small but growing group who are working together to collaborate as a local Joomla! community, and as part of the national and global community of Joomla users.
We started in October 2008. We're proud to be the first Joomla user group in Scotland and have been made official by Elin Waring at Open Source Matters. Find a Joomla user group in your area at http://community.joomla.org/user-groups.html.
Although it is the Joomla User Group Aberdeen, anyone is welcome, most of our members are from outside Aberdeen.
